tHESE PARTICULAR DOLLS ARE VERY POPULAR AND MADE IN THE 1960S around 1963 to 69.. this one is in the Canadian book of dolls page 218, and this is Kimmie, 1969, 10 inches tall, plastic body, jointed hips, shoulders, neck.. Vinyl chubby head, side glancing painted brown eyes, rooted straight black hair, watermelon mouth, grin.. Regal/Made in Canada.. this doll arrived with an awesome real fur hat and parka, appears to fit him perfect and he could have been sold with this parka.. I believe it is beaver fur, very soft fur, , yes this would have been original as his one tie string has native Aboriginal symbols on the tie,, the fur in the front is separated a bit.. separated along a few snaps.. otherwise nice condition parka and hood, real fur.. and red snow pants in cotton with feet attached, a bit dusty from display.. nice all original Canadian souvenir popular doll...... have a few like this particular Canadian doll, this is in very nice condition, been on display fully jointed lightweight plastic... sorry the pictures do not depict the impishness and character this doll has. inventory #607.a..sold as previously owned Canadian Reliable Kimmie dressed as a northern Inuit doll, .. and so cute.. Kimmie doll 10 inches, over 40 years old. as shown in pictures.. and is as described in the text and shown in pictures. thank you. I find each one is a bit different.
