clearing out the inventory and finding homes for so many items, while waiting for my website to become rejuvenated.. these have a long history and I don't think these are the 1920s mud men that were popular in my grandmother's day... I remember my grandmother having mudmen and loved them even as a child... many years ago I gave my daughter a huge carved rock and many vintage mud men, she loves them too... so this is the mudmen I have now and please go by the picture. the first picture shows all of them and then close up views, some in group settings... these are very very fragile and each will be so well wrapped.. some are playing chess like games.. all are Oriental and very wise looking characters.. one of the stories from the 1920s when the first war was on, these mud men were banned from entering Canada and these mud men were not available for generations.. I don't know when the ban was lifted but it seemed it was a long time coming.... the gentleman on the far right side his arm was knocked off just sitting in a huge cake tin wrapped up... otherwise all the characters are in good condition... shipping will be a bit expensive as extensive wrapping will be used. I WANTED TO SELL EACH PIECE SEPARATELY and have grouped them 5 large group settings of Chinese characters playing board games etc. $14 each 2 small group setting of Chinese characters playing board game; $10 2 Sampans..great detailing $17 each 3 larger individual Chinese characters, $16 each 10 each these are the prices I had put on them about 7 years ago.. one of the Chinese persons in a very small group setting is separated from his head and it is packed separately. as you see them in the picture, small and fragile... the sampans have character or characters on them..
