Butterick#6668, This pattern is a reproduction of a vintage pattern that the Butterick pattern company has put out in the past few years along with other CLASSIC barbie outfits from their vintage archives. This pattern has both BARBIE and hard to find clothes for KEN, This one even has a SUIT for both of them. The outfits look to be event matchers: Beach- Barbie has a great beach dress that looks great in Terry Cloth with a bit of fringe,Ken has a shirt and SHORTS.The suits are the classic ones for them both -Kens even has the vest and ribbon tie!!. There's night wear for both-Barbies is a strapless gown with skirt train and Kens tuxedo even has the cummerbund!!! This is one great pattern. A LOVELY RETRO PATTERN looks like the very early 60s, actually 1959 to 1962.... A is a suit with cardigan jacket, patch pockets, 3/4 sleeves. straight skirt, sleeves blouse and headband.. I wore an outfit like that one... and B is slim strapless eve gown, contrast cummerbund, long sash.. C is the beach dress, pockets... outfit D suit, shirt, vest, ribbon tie.. and E is formal tux with contrast lapels, cummerbund, ribbon bow tie and shirt.. F is short sleeve shirt, bermuda shorts.. fabric use cottons,ltwt linens, ltwt denim, brocade and taffeta... butterick 6668 the retro brought back to today 2000.
