AMAZING PATTERN, PATTERN JACKET IS NOT IN GOOD CONDITION, torn and separated but tissue is fine and all accounted for... would estimate late 30s to the beginning of the 40s for this fine bonnet, hat, scarf pattern.. very covered wagon bonnet, prairie style as well.., checked out ok.. size 22 inch head.. bonnet set. brighten your hat collection with these beguiling bonnets.. 1 is the hood type looks like a scarf type to me.. and front turns back to form a cuff; crown is pointed.. style II is the conventional bonnet trimmed with rick rack.. III may be worn in two ways, with the ties inside and edges turned back or with the ties outside.. wow.. style I suggest velveteen, snowcloth, never heard that one before, novelty cottons, fleece, cord.. and for style II plain or print cottons, pique, plaid ginghams, chintz etc.. and style III plain or print novelty cottons, linen, glazed chintz, velveteen etc.. just a cute adorable pattern for bonnets, hats... 7 pieces... wear and tear on vintage almost antique pattern jacket, tissue is accounted for and nice. SIMPLICITY 3065.. AND I just listed a pattern that came with this one, for a skating skirt mccall pattern dated 1938 so would estimate this bonnet pattern from a similar era...
