2441 SIMPLICITY 1948 BATHING DRESS, FLARE BEACH COAT PATTERN 14 32'' UNCUT

WHAT A FIND EVEN TODAY THIS WOULD BE A WONDERFUL BATHING SUIT OR BATHING DRESS.. dated 1948 Simplicity 2441 some wear on pattern jacket, fragile jacket, tissue is nice a ORIGINAL FOLDS. . size 14, old sizing, bust 32, waist 26 and hip 35 inches... princess bathing suit is secured with a slide fastener closing in back. The bra section gathers to the underarm ands at the sides and ties into a knot at the center front.. The suit is lined and finished with trunks.. The flare bck coat, seamed down the centre back, buttons at the neck. Patch pockets, a wing collar and long cuff sleeves finish the coat.. .. for beach coat and bathing suit use cotton broadcloth, poplin, seersucker, chambray, gingham, sharkskin, chintz, faille, spun rayon.. beach coat: gab or flannel. bathing suit of satin - Hollywood style! this is more like what they call a bathing dress.. Simplicity 2441 super great pattern.. this is a great find. and that beach coat is so cute with the collar and Erin pockets! brown age stains at top of pattern jacket. original folds uncut size 14. used my file picture from last one I had on hand and sold..
