3962 1930s BUTTERICK DEMURE NIGHTGOWN,SASH PATTERN 32B 14

well I am in love with antique patterns all over again.. Just received hundreds of the most amazing glimpses into history I have ever seen... never seen any of these before.. they are personally counted and checked out.. some are uncut or partly cut. some are grubby and some are not bad for their age.. THIS ONE IS TOTALLY AWESOME, cut and checked out ok all accounted for around the time of the Deltor patterns I believe, estimate this pattern at the early 1930s , I have several 1920s in this batch.. very very old sizing,, bust 32, size 14, Butterick 3962 pattern made in Canada.. and this reminds me of so many events, the back view at the bottom reminds me of a Dickens Novel and great grandmas lighting the lamps before electricity.. and the square neck tied at waist floor nightgown reminds me of Dorothy L'Amour, movie star glamor.. and the high neck demure one would be like grams nightgown when they totally dressed themselves while their full nightgown was on for propriety sake... , look like museum pieces.. how does a pattern stay intact for 80 plus years.. A is the demure nightgown designed on full flowing lines, high neck, tucked yoke front and back; full bishop sleeves, Gram;s nightgown.. and B version is caught at the waist by a ribbon sash.. the movie star version.. Low square neck, lace drop shoulder yoke and ruffles forming sleeves.. only 10 pieces.. absolutely lovely.. called nightgown: smart yoke size 14, bust 32, and waist 26 1/2 inches, and hip 35 inches,,, and that probably is the old measuring 7 inches below natural waist.. really old sizing.. Butterick 3962 bit of wear on pattern jacket, not bad for its vintage, , love this pattern. as ...a very demure and museum piece looking nightgown with a smart yoke, only 10 pieces!!! cut and checked out ok a truly historic pattern, good condition overall, some wear on pattern jacket,,. and we combine shipping too.
