LOT 17 2 HAWAII MAKALEKA,2 FRENCH,TAGS,1 GERMAN BLK FOREST DOLLS

Description inventory 393. 8'' HAWAIIN DANCER MAKALEKA DOLL WITH TAG, plastic white cone stand covered with a white cotton jersey fabric.., lovely doll, and she has a thin or narrow composition looking called Porcella light tan intense shoulderhead on this cone stand.. dressed in Hawaiin red print dress. Porcella hands, yellow lei, floral headdress and long bushy ethnic hair. made in Hawaii sticker on the bottom, circa 1960s on estimation. clearing out the dolls.. nice condition, been on display for years..,, the long bushy soft hair at the back is sewn to the back seam of the dress, I guess to keep it ruly... have another one slightly different mostly in blue Hawaiin print. cone stand as well. sign on bottom handmade in Hawaii., the stand of plastic is very flimsy and a crack in one spot, does not affect the dolll., the cone is solid.. she is wearing a fuschia lei which matches the hot pink ruffle at the bottom of the stand.. long black hair. almost like a carved face, like coconut wood, feels like human hair, and compo hands., and the tag says faces are made of tapa mache.. hand made individual expressions so both combined.., this doll is taller at about 9 or so inches high plus rigid sun hat.. well made LOT 17 2 HAWAII MAKALEKA,2 FRENCH INTNL DOLLS,TAGS We are combining randomly several lots of my hundreds of international and ethnic dolls.. in this lot we have the two Hawaiin dolls both with similar tags one in hot pink or cherise and the other in blue... next to go with this lot is a I am sure French doll with regal lace hat, Elizabethan collar, in a lovely blue gown with embroidered apron. total length about 7 inches but she is smaller at 5.5 inches approx. sleep eyes, nice doll. non removable clothing. and this is another doll french I am assuming well dressed with an almost Dutch cap of her region, light blonde hair, red full skirt, black, apron, gold trim. she is smaller than her costume.. she is about 6.5 inches total. all four go with the one lot 17 nice condition ALSO INCLUDED IS A SEALED IN BAG VINTAGE CELLULOID bLACK FOREST German girl doll, lovely and all original with her pompoms on her straw hat, braids, jointed. could easily be 1940s about 9 inches tall or so and she goes home with the above lot as well.
