INVENTORY 156 see also inventory 648.. 7 1/2 '' 1940-50s Evangeline/French doll... beautiful doll, gracious, and this is an Evangeline Doll, French origin or her heritage would be French but this doll is from the States.. St. Martinsville, LA Louisiana.. her gauzy white stiff apron is stamped Home of Evangeline,... full blue polished cotton skirt,, white long sleeve gauzy blouse, black vest,, brown mohair wig.. and white cap... big blue sleep eyes, long painted upper lashes, closed mouth,, circa late 40s to 50s..,, white painted shoes with a bit of paint loss.. frozen one piece body and jointed arms.. as you see her..
