Description ABOUT 7 1/2 INCHES TALL THIS FELLOW IS ONE VERY RECOGNIZABLE GENT.. FROM AN ERA LONG AGO. THIS IS A CARLSON DOLL THAT MAKES REPLICAS OF FAMOUS PIONEERS AND OTHER DIGNITARIES.. TAG SAYS BEN FRANKLIN MADE IN U.S.A. Carlson doll on his back imprinted as well. one piece frozen body, jointed arms and neck, and in such finery.. white leather leggings, and the nicest color green suede leather breeches and long vest with metal buttons, lace jabot, and charming rust suede long jacket, carrying his original paper document. probably a scroll... wearing horn rim glasses, closed mouth sleep eyes, and glued on auburn brown soft mohair type wig.. very authentic looking.,, nice condition as I received him.. do not know if he had a hat originally,, if my memory serves me correctly, I don't remember seeing pictures of him wearing a hat.. has nice black leather pilgrim shoes too.. well made doll.. great for any doll collection.. inventory 1349 THE PICTURES do not do this quality doll justice.. beautiful garments. I just saw one sold on the internet and he was not wearing a hat and was missing his scroll, the other one had a rust color suede suit, ours has a handsome green suede suit.. and on the net another description of our famous gent.. quote All hard plastic.
