12'' RELIABLE HP FASHION DOLL 40s CIGARETTE SILVER FOIL LOOP GOWN

THIS TRULY has to be almost one of a kind, from a large doll collection. this is a 12 inch Canadian Reliable hard plastic jointed doll, these dolls were made in the late 1940s just after plastic was invented.. great fashion dolls for designs.. now the dress she is making would be equal to a trench art design if it was during the war not shortly afterwards.. this doll dress is made of silver foil cigarette wrappers! so amazing and heavy.. full skirt.. and silver lame bodice.. skirt is separate and orange taffeta base with crochet lace hem. well done.. blue sleep eyes, light brown hair... Canadian blue pinwheel eyes.. the history is amazing for this gown.. silk roses attached to one of the silver foil loops..
