15'' 1960 HUDSON BAY KOWEEKA SMILEY D&C CANADIAN NATIVE DOLL, WOOL PARKA, FUR TRIM

THESE ARE GREAT DOLLS ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY ARE ALL ORIGINAL, well he is missing his cardboard advertising tag . and the softest fur around his hood.. love this very carved ethnic sculptured face of this Koweeka doll.. brown plastic body, 1960 jointed hips, shoulders and neck.. vinyl head, painted black eyes, rooted straight black hair, open closed mouth,smiling and showing painted teeth. mark on head Koweeka 9c) Hudsons Bay Co.. and on body Made in Canada/Dee and Cee. original parka, hood and pants.. bright rick rack, very nice condition for its age.. very handsome collectible male smiling doll.. page 96 of Canadian book of dolls.. about 15 inches tall. well made wool parka and pants and moccasins... inventory 23 these are so hard to find, amazing. Smiley, great doll with hudson bay wool tunic, fur trim, and original moccs with red trim.. he has mitts added to his tunic top.. fur trim hood this one has been adjusted so there isn't a zipper showing on the back of the hood.. the zipper is hidden inside the hood. shelf 7 doll room ..
