1930s EMBROIDER RAG DOLL,WOOD DOLL BOX,BLUEBIRD QUILT,HANKI 133

Description the history is written with this doll.. a young girl, Canadian in Alberta here made this doll circa 1930s, all the embroidery etc.. and had an old wooden box,lined it in pink fabric. and there is a pillow and a beautiful doll quilt with bluebirds on it.. Love bluebirds, that tells the age partly.. My grandmother made so many pillow cases etc with bluebirds.. very well made.. nice wooden doll box to put this dolly in, as I received her.. too heavy for overseas.. about 12 inches tall.. Dear rag doll all embroidered with blue bird pin on her and also a bluebird and pink quilt.. Believe she lived in a town called Bluebird.. unusual well made rag doll, lots of embroidery.. all goes together combined as shown in picture.. inventory 133.. THERE IS A LOVELY SOFT GREEN ALL EMBROIDERED PRESSED HANDKERCHIEF that was laying under the doll. nice basic stitches and the old 30s flat green color hankie.. somuch embroidery on the pink linen type gauzy dress with lace trim everywhere,original blue ribbons.. and hat to match with bluebird pin on.. very 30s hair style of tendrils on the side of the head.. and matching bloomers in pink with lace.. like a muslin stuffed body. and she is about 14 inches tall.. old rayon socks too nice condition would say this rag doll lived her whole life in this wooden box with flower decal on the top. darker wood.. not an expensive doll wooden box but a nice box for dolls and treasures..... the history is attached to her and the owner of this doll attended primary school and made this doll in the Bluebird class...
