30'' D&C CDN 1962 PLAYPAL WALKER DOLL IN RED #454

Description INVENTORY 454.. 31'' D&C 1960 Canadian Companion walker Playpal doll- Canadian Company Dee n Cee lovely 1960 tall playpal styled walker doll.. hard plastic body, fully jointed with the playpal type fingers as I received her.. nice curled rooted ash blonde hair, wearing very vintage clothing.. red and white little dress with polka dots.. very old red suede fringed moccasin shoes, the true red of Chatty Cathy.. and pull up stockings with a glisten to them. never seen pull up stockings like these.. and very old woolen underwear with wear, and will find a new pair of undies for her trip home.. This doll is about 30 to 31 inches tall and too expensive for overseas countries.. the option will not be in the menu.... soft vinyl head her head itself seems to lean at an angle... she is a walker doll and her legs click when they walk, her head does not turn. several of these walker dolls had this feature, vinyl head that does not turn.. she has a matching hair ornament in her hair.. sweet doll hard to believe she is 50 years old already.. had her for a few years on display.. the head is is the only flaw I can see, it leans a bit to the side.. her hair is nice and she looks unplayed with overall.. i WENT THROUGH THREE Canadian Doll books looking for this specific doll. she is very hard to find and the closest one I could find is in the green book for one called Suntan Walker.. 30 inches tall, plastic body, jointed hips, shoulder and neck, vinyl head and rooted short hair. the suntan walker had a dark complexion this is the lighter one.. and mark on head D & C.. so this pretty well fits this doll and dated circa 1962..
