DESCRIBED AS A COPTIC DOLL, this charming brown cloth body lady is so well done in the garment of her country. estimate India with embroidery throughout the long off white dress and sari type shawl.. brown stitched legs with stitching u the front, black shoes with some paint loss feel like a light type of wood.. she has stitched fingers and separate thumb. beautiful mature I believe classic lady missionary doll. hair in three segments on head, symbol on her forehead, high arch eyebrows, painted facial features, mysterious and serene.., wearing white boxer linen under shorts and very hard stuffed bodice.. brown legs.. and maybe light plastic face.. well made.. and her yarn black hair falls down past her shoulders and under the sari shawl. her ivory dress is flannelette material and a bit dusty from being on display, overall nice ethnic religious doll and do not know her previous history.. , she is fully jointed.. love the stitching on her hands, and her dress is so soft.. about 10 inches tall doll room shelf 2 ok SHE HAS now been identified as She is from Ethiopia in Coptic Christian dress
