10'' VINTAGE ETHNIC INDIA DOLL PINK OUTFIT, BURKA HEADCOVER 1341

Description 10" India cloth doll in yellow 1930's to maybe 1940s on estimate India Purdah or Burka cloth cover up. and this doll is new to me and was included in a large doll estate collection. as shown in picture, nice condition vintage, all cloth body, arms, mitt hands, feet, satin pink long tunic and pants and the muslin head covering called a Burka.., hard stuffed fabric face with painted facial features, pearls at ears and necklace,, fancy trim on tunic, she seems to be a mature woman.. her tunic is separated at the bust line revealing a mature busty womany., sandals attached to her feet., the doll overall is in nice intact condition, the long tunic has some wear to it.. very interesting muslin or linen head covering, a few marks but overall nice condition. inventory 1341
