12'' BLONDE CELLULOSE FACE EUROPE DANCER DOLL, HEADDRESS 849

Description love this doll, she is so beautiful, gorgeous crafted cellulose face, just about perfect, rosy cheeks, little red dots in nostrils. bow red mouth, blue eyes,, and platinum blonde hair in braids.. mitt hands like some lenci dolls.. all creamy satin wide skirt with red satin and lace skirt.. red vest and sheer peasant blouse with old ecru lace.. old ribbons in her hair and lovely floral headdress. first I have seen dressed like her., crisp under slip , cotton and boxer shorts.. she has some remnants of stamps on her legs, CCA so it would identify her to a point, about 12 inches tall inventory 849., she has something like pin joints at her hips for flexibility but her undies are snug and restrict her leg movement, arms are jointed.., our girl is a celluloid shoulder head.. lovely doll for any collection.. skirt is a bit creased from being on display over the years, would say she is unplayed with.. a few threads hanging from her satin skirt.. seams on sides of arms and seams up middle of legs.., painted red boots like oilcloth.. I suspect she is from Russia or Czech, Ukrainian or even Polish and a dancer.. can only estimate her age around late 40s to 1950s.. the other leg has .IW stamp on it.., maybe this doll was made by a union group.. as I received her, mesmerizing face. beside her face the rest of this lovely doll is stuffed cloth.. nice stitched hands with thumb..
