12'' LENCI TYPE FELT FACE MITT HANDS BLONDE DOLL, WOOD SHOES 236

Description VERY CHARMING MISS IN VERY NICE CONDITION for her age.. beautiful face, pressed felt I believe, a lot like the Lenci dolls although no tags on this missy.. longer dark blue cotton type skirt with red ribbon trim.. red socks, and old brown clogs..,, skin color stuffed body, legs have the seams up the front of the leg, muslin type little slip, and older pin and disc joints at the top of the legs for flexibility.. her beautiful gauzy blouse does not seem removable. snap at neck and you can see she is straw stuffed. jointed arms.. side glancing painted brown eyes, nice nose, open closed red lips,, lovely light blonde braids with red ribbons at ends and red ribbons at end of her peasant styled sleeves.. never seen a blouse like this one, very attractive. nice overall condition.. her brown wooden shoes are scuffed a bit and polishing may perk them up., cannot see any actual ears, her hair is covering the ear area.. good home please.. lovely doll nice size of about 12 inches.. great mitt hands with seamed fingers and separate thumb.. inventory #236 well made doll would have been made in Italy where Lenci dolls are made or Germany on estimation. and vintage on estimate perhaps late 30s to 40s with the type of hip joints... filed doll rm shelf 7 inventoried ok
