Description 12'' 60s European ETHNIC DOLL ALL ORIGINAL red/ black costume one of my favorites and have a few similar to this charming miss, each one is dressed according to their region and slightly different, believe these dolls would be hand dressed.. . Believe she is from Yugoslavia, Slaviks or Poland..... found one similar in my Ethnic book of dolls.. stunning costume, been on display, beautiful condition.. peasant blouse, orangey red ribbon down bodice and around waist.. embroidered rich red ribbon in front of black cotton skirt with lace and embroidered ribbon.. red dirndl type skirt.. black lace on the peasant blouse and matching orange taffeta ribbons around her arms.. net slip, undergarments, black leatherette boots.. this girl doll is lovely.. red scarf headdress covering light brown molded hair, all original ; closed mouth, painted blue eyes.. well made doll jointed and believe she is celluloid, at least the face is... and believe the rest is early light plastic.. inventory 104 clearing out the dolls.. nice addition to any collection. 104. 12??????? celluloid head, red scarf, Slavik/Polish 50s doll original, black boots,black apron 104 she just has a little gummy sticky bit on one leg from a very old tag.. do not believe this doll was played with, only been on display.. her collar is curled up, a sailor collar with black lace and her embroidered ribbons in front need to be pressed down. filed ok ff doll room shelf 3 inventoried filed
