13'' BLACK PRIMITIVE CLOTH DOLL HARD FACE SEA SHELLS RAFIA SKIRT

Description this is a 13 inch all cloth black doll which I would call primitive and estimate the age to be circa 50s to 1960s at the latest.. 13 inches nice size,, grass OR RAFIA skirt original is dry due to aging and shedding a bit.. this person has sea shells around the waist and a shell necklace as well.. very well done painted facial features, red mouth with teeth and big black eyes with lashes all painted the face is harder and could be some kind of plaster or harder material under the velvety covered face.. real coarse black hair, , stuffed body arms and legs. which are jointed.. shells hanging from right hand.. mitt hands.. interesting unique doll. and could be French... almost like a version of the Golliwog.. shelf 6 doll room inventoried.. inventory 734 .
