14'' 2 CANADIAN INUIT NORTH ADULT FOLK DOLLS, PARKAS, MOCCASINS, BABY

THIS IS A VERY INTERESTING PAIR OF INUIT OR FROBISHER AREA DOLLS. REALLY COOL AND I WAS TOLD THEY WERE VALUABLE. as you see them, they are solid stuffed cloth dolls with hand made garments. the shape of the parka should identify them as to the exact region they are from.. I purchased them from a gentleman who bought them from a lady in the north but he could not remember which region it was. about 14 inches tall they are finely detailed.. one has a baby in the hood. moccasins,, one has a blue crochet or knit cap, blue fur trim very large all purpose hod that would fit an infant as well. canvas type shaped parka with multi color yarn for ties. decorated.. green plaid skirt garment, and part of the legs are blue print.. and the moccasins. and a tie around the waist, very square and solid looking doll. under the parka is a black and white houndstooth type garment, can see it if you peek at the top of the parka at back. hand emroidered faces. these came as a pair and would prefer to sell them together.. next is the partner with a red and pink knit or crochet cap, fur around the hood as well, wider yarn woven belt. boxy canvas parka that is square hem instead of shaped. and very nice mitt hands like the other doll. this one has a carry pouch. black satin pants. and moccasins with black ties, stitching., and can see a bit of blue polka dot fabric under the parka.. the baby is in the hood.. too cute.. about 4 inches long slim, adorable baby embroidered features in blue dot outfit. each are 14 inches tall for the adults.. both combined, inventory 1669 FILED OK inventoried doll room shelf 6 box ok there is another Inuit celluloid doll dressed in furs he snuck into the pictures..
