2 12" VINTAGE CLOTH NATIVE ISLAND LADY DOLLS, BLUE OUTFITS, SHOES GREAT LADIES AND CALL THEM ISLAND LADY DOLLS IN BLUE. the first one is in blue polka dot dress with matching fabric shoes on a sole, brown skin cloth arms and legs as well, the legs are not jointed but flexible to move slightly. her feet are pointed outwards.... Her arms are sewn together and raise in unison. she has a fabric covered face, painted facial features and a yellow head wrap. 12 inches tall and has a vintage slip cotton underneath with netting hem of plastic I believe. . she is wearing underwear.. the face is like it is made of a paper mache type material and covered with the brown cloth. Her companion is also about 12 inches tall and has the same construction face with the brown cloth covering, with painted features.. long black yarn hair and a good condition blue long dress with lots of lace trim. she has some stifferener under the skirt for flare.. she is wearing nice white cotton or linen pantaloons, socks and leatherette white shoe boots with blue ribbons.. this doll is jointed and has mitt hands and well stuffed cloth brown body. both go together.. filed 12 2020 lr bin ok The lady in the polka dot and head scarf I am sure could be from one of the Islands.. The other lady in blue although similar face structure could be from Mexico on assumption.
