This actually has an underbodice in the front, which buttons closed, and the exterior fabric closes over it with hooks and eyes. CALLED A CLOSELY FITTED HOUSE DRESS OR WRAPPER before getting into their corsets.. button front lining and princess line in back pull the dress in to create a fitt4ed bodice while pleats at center front and back are held in place with waist ties and simple square collar, etc... the skirt fitted over the hips, falls to a wide flounce at the ankle.. pattern may be cut street length or as a blouse.. day or nice.. folkwear 208 in the brownish purplish color cover. used a copy from the web.. also have one with blue cover 208 both uncut
