Description 829. sitting Japanese character in tapestry robes.. BEAUTIFUL AND PROBABLY A BIT NEWER. WITHIN THE PAST 35 or so years on estimation.. sitting, in a ceremonial pose, rich tapestry robes.. and looks like the eggshell or gofun head and hands. long graceful fingers, multi layered robe with wide winged sleeves.. our doll is 6 inches high sitting position. lovely oriental doll sits flat, nicely created no label. sold as I received him, black hair and side pieces of hair as well. what an expression, so pleased with himself.. beautiful carved face. red lips, inset eyes.. nicely made and previously cared for.. these layers are beautiful in yellow and pink and light orange multi layers and are all folded and cover most of the inside of the wings of the robe..
