Description THIS IS LOT 45. I have hundreds of ethnic and international and aboriginal dolls all sizes and different materials.. this is a nice Lot for lot 45 all about the same size and some famous characters..... we have one French doll only about 4.5 inches hard plastic doll herself and her full skirt is longer than her, she is in original flmsy plastic container souvenir doll St. Briac s/Mer something like Briac on the Sea. well dressed white embossed apron, black shawl, black hair, white headdress, sleep eyes, dainty miss., one end of the cylinder container is missing, she fits snugly in the container.. next in the lot is an Italian looking doll with pressed face hand painted facial features, red top, green floor skirt, vintage doll with black rubber shoes circa 60s on estimate. white legs, her clothes are attached to her, bit of wear, next is a male character perhaps a dancer and believe he could be Greek about 5 inches tall, felt hands. turned up leather shoes, wool felt pants, braided sash, very handsome and wired arms they move simultaneously... wire stand.. and next could be a 7.5 inch hard plastic Betsey Ross type doll very patriotic with large American U.S. flag., pretty lace shawl and apron over a vivid purple taffeta floor skirt, red blouse, brown mohair wig, sleep eyes., she is wearing white removable rubber shoes., lovely intense blue sleep eyes, love her brown hair. and last in this series is another character with beautiful long light blonde hair., lovely white long mantilla. royal blue velvet cape robe, royalty style, with real fur trim. she is about 7.5 inches tall, lovely white satin floor gown with gold braid trim. sleep eyes., she has a tag Maid of the Mountain, probably Norwegian. Fjallhonan., history enclosed with this doll, made and signed in 1958.
