13'' ORIGINAL CELLULOID FRENCH LE MINOR ALSACE OR BOURGOGNE DOLLS IN COSTUME

inventory #1961 this doll is a French beauty, celluloid vintage doll, pinafore apron in dark green satin heavily embossed with embroidered floral ribbon and wheat.. lovely ash blonde or light brown mohair wavy wig, , black taffeta bow headdress, over a black wool felt skull cap. very interesting.., full full red skirt with embroidery ribbon at bottom of skirt.., skirt of dress is stiffened with netting attached to skirt., another netting underskirt as well and undies, painted white rib socks and mary jane black shoes.. she is about 11 inches tall and to the bottom of the skirt about 13 inches tall., celluloid arms, expressive beautiful inset blue painted eyes, pensive smile.. hair is pulled back under her cap.. as shown in picture, and she is wearing a heart tag this one is Alsace France Le Minor.. heart shape tag Le Minor and Alsace France on the other side. inventory 1551 her legs are jointed and believe her arms are also they are heavily encased in her regional dress. beautiful condition. have two of them... Her sister is from Bourgogne. for the Alsace Doll choose A in the menu... Her sister from Bourgogne seems a bit shorter than the other French doll. she has dark painted eyes and dark brown wavy hair, under a lacy bonnet with interesting headddress wool felt cap and long mantilla lace coming down from the cap.. Our lady here has a beautiful deep red satin apron all trimmed richly in gold and black lace.. Her dress is thick brocade type material in black with two layers of rich gold and red embroidered ribbon and trim.. She has similar legs and feet., molded rib socks.. .. Our lady has a beautiful triangle lace black shawl. choose B for the lady from Bourgogne.. the taller sister is a full length of 13 inches and her sister is a total length of 11 inches. filed doll rm #1961 shelf 7 ok
