THIS IS A GREAT PACKAGE. never seen this publication before and I want them all.. what a super duper Barbie doll crochet victoriana day gown.. called 1896 Christening day Costume; pattern includes dress, hat, boots, and baby's christening set.. absolutely magnificent.. p043. Crochet Collector Costume vol 32 by Paradise publications. 1996 this pattern booklet has been rolled and is semi folded but all intact and came with the pink crochet cotton balls to make this dress and some of the dress is crochet already.. stunning, beautiful.. awesome.. even a section on how to do this hairstyle.. wow!!.. the mother's dress is elegantly designed with large puffy sleeves and a beautiful bell shaped skirt.. Crochet in a finely textured pattern, the dress drapes softly with the feel of real fabric.. skirt is made to fall 2 1/4" below the 11 1/2" fashion doll's feet like Barbies and sweeps onto the floor for added display beauty. bodice features a wide V shaped collar from that era.. a real lace insert at the neck and layers of lace frills give the doll a charming antique effect. Gibson Girl Victoriana gown.. and she has a lavish lace christening set for a newborn infant.. delicate picot fan stitch pattern, etc.. back buttons, and the baby outfit fits a 3 inch baby doll.. size 20 crochet cotton..... what a grande ensemble for your best Barbie doll .. and the miniature victorian boots, heels, just like the real ones at the turn of the century are amazing.... one booklet only and 2 balls of crochet pink cotton is included with this and a partly created dress as well..
