Simplicity 7389 | 1976 Sewing Pattern - The lined dresses with skirt gathered to bodice above normal waistline have low round neckline, back zipper and set-in sleeves gathered to armholes. Lace trimmed V.1&2 with front inset and stand-up collar have long sleeves gathered to cuffs, self tie belt and tucked bodice, sleeves and cuffs. V.3,4&5 with self ruffle have sleeves gathered with elastic casings, forming self ruffles and ribbon tie belt. bit of adjustment, cut and checked out ok all accounted for.. simplicity 7389 size 14, thick pattern, bust 36, waist 28 and hip 38 inches.. use moire, voile, organza, taffeta, sateen etc. etc.. , wear and tape on pattern jacket... thick and heavy.
