Reissued ca. 1952 as Butterick 6249    write up from wikki.. used web picture.. interesting, our pattern has some edge wear and the coloring is in gold not the color in the picture.. same pattern  our sizing is chest 34 size 14 to 16 and does not say children or adults on the pattern, the writing is in gold print and faint.     use A bodice cambric, sateen etc..   B bodice is taffeta, satin and skirt net etc.   cut and checked out ok all accounted for..    punched tissue.  AND THIS WOULD BE THE OLD SIZING ...
