Description NEWLANDS BABY BOOK VOLUME 8, PREVIOUSLY OWNED AND WEAR ON THE BOOK... and this is so precious.. inside the front page is the royal layette,, the Newlands company had the opportunity of seeing Prince Charles' Royal layette in England at the time of his birth. so they adapted the pattern here so others could make it, then this dates the book to the mid to late 40s.... this is so precious a book.. the one page, if I kept this book would frame the Promenade pretties,, five vintage composition dolls their pictures in knitted and crochet hats and bonnets in a framed setting,,, socks and slippers.. designed for babies and children up to two years.. what a great book, knitting and crochet,, wear on the book not perfect..
