these are newer Amish dolls made in the United States and dated and initialed.. full jointed, about 12 inches tall.. she is a little taller than him so this is probably a brother and sister pair. adorable and hand crafted.. nicely made, black bonnet, sheer pinafore apron, and this young lady has a fine cotton yellow dress, , all cloth doll no faces, fully jointed, their tradition, and her partner has a nice light blue shirt and black strappy pants, stuffed black feet for shoes, he has a straw hat.. he has a date on his jointed leg FJS 11 05 . all these dolls were made in the colony, some are signed some aren't, his body is signed, hers is..not. this is for the pair of Amish dolls newer made but hand made.. inventory 1395 have one other pair listed as well. THESE DOLLS ARE so well made, jointed legs with buttons and just notice this charming miss in yellow has two wagon bonnets on her head., a stiffer one with a peplum at the back and a smaller black one hugging her head like a baby bonnet underneath the wagon one.. filed shelf 2 doll room
