Description gorgeous AND THIS IS absolutely amazing, called a teenage petticoat but looks like you could go to a ball or dancing in them solo. Simplicity 2424 so old, age and wear on pattern jacket, encased in thick plastic sleeve.. just love the description of this garment.. teen age petticoat in daytime, Ballerina and evening lengths.. circular petticoat which joins to a waistband falls in an easy flare.. style 2 features an embroidered ruffle at the lower edge.. Style 3 has a self ruffle trim... and only 3 pieces, the big circular petticoat piece for front and back, the ruffle and the waistband.. suggest silk or rayon crepe, flat crepe, taffeta, satin, batiste, rayon jersey, lawn... beautiful ... 24 inch waist and hip 31 inches. snap fasteners and hook and eye for side opening or a zipper. Simplicity 2424 checked out ok all accounted for all three pieces!!. pattern jacket not perfect side seam sepration.. but what a glorious garment.. for costumes or just because.. great for plays and movie theatre productions.. dated 1948 Simplicity Primer...cut and checked out ok 1948 simplicity pattern, 3 pieces, 24 inch waist, simply wow petticoat pattern
