Vogue Americana 2238; ca. 1969; Chuck Howard; Misses' Dress and Coat. Loose-fitting short sleeve wrap coat with back yoke extending to forward shoulder seams has patch pockets and purchased belt. Loose-fitting sleeveless dress with front and back V-neckline and tucks above waistline has forward shoulder seams. Attached shaped belt with button closing worn above waistline and pockets in side seams. Front invisible zipper closing. Featured in Vogue Pattern Book December 1969/January 1970 and in Vogue International Pattern Book June/July 1970 uncut nice condition original folds.. staple mark on top of pattern flap.. designer Chuck Howard. size 14 just when sizing changed over and would change again a few years later.. waist 27, hip 38 inches.. use soft or crisp fabrics, linen, ltwt wool etc for dress and Coat crisp fabrics linen, satin, double knit etc.
