this girl is so unique and lovely.The villages of Staphorst and its southern neighbour Rouveen came into existence as in the 13th century monks started to bring the bogs and swamps into culture. on wikkii so her apron says Staphorst Holland. nice black or navy apron with the pin of her country in yellow.. wearing a blue cotton skirt and charming striped pantaloons. with original black socks. that have some holes in them, I think they are from the rubbing of the wooden shoes she wears. she is marked on the back but cannot read it or translate the symbol. molded hair, intense blue eyes, fully jointed. lovely collector doll.. love her floral cap and the embroidery trim on her outfit.. she is about 14 inches tall.. Inventory 1673. as I received her... the material is mysterious, thought at first it was celluloid but now believe she is the early soft vinyl.. her wrists are articulated as well. her face is softer than the harder plastic body. charming miss. the symbols look like children figures with smaller ones on the bottom. also the rectangle reads like Wahl...... bin 16 lr ok inventoried
